Friends Challenge

This is an ATC tag I made for my friend. I will be adding ribbon to the hole punch so she can use it as a bookmark as she is an advid reader. I t also happens to fit the theme for Make it Mondays challenge "friends or friendship".

This is My finished piece. It is an ATC (2.5 x3.5 inches). The title is Create Yourself.

Theme Thursday-Tag Challenge

This is an ATC tag I created and it goes with the challenge from Theme Thursday tag challenge.
The title is "Charmer". I used a piece of an old dictionary page which has the word and defination of charmer on it. As always my pieces are hand cut and pasted to a thick based cardstock.

In my world....

These pieces were made for a challenge set for those who belong to Paper Digital Art and Imagesbykim. There were 3 requirements to the challenge. 1.You had to use distressed paper that she had a tutorial for. 2.You had to use all or one of the following: rusty nails, paper clips, bottle caps, or pop tabs. 3. We had to use In my world.... for the title of the piece.



"In my world I have thoughts of my Mother"



ATC is made with using disstressed coffee stained and distressed purple sugar crystal mucic sheets. Vintage image of mother and daughter placed next. Pansies hand cut from old wall paper book. I used them because pansies mean thoughts. Rusty nails glued to vintage portrait. Added herat jewelry piece and vintage lace.

"In my world I thoughts of my Mother is my Angel."

This ATC is german paper overlayed with blue sugar crystal tissue paper. Attatched vertically was apiece of matching felt ribbon. On top of that was vintage image of mother holding her daughter. In upper left corner is a saftey pin. On left side is a image cut and butterfly applied on top. In lower right corner is bottle cap linged with coffee stained distessed music sheet and old angel earing.

"In My World I have bliss and joy of a child"

This piece was done using distressed tea stained music sheet and ink distressed German paper. To this I added the image of the children. On top of that is a tag with the word Bliss and letters cut out to spell Joy. Embellishments are buttons, bell and a paper clip.

There is also a contest going and you can vote for your favorite piece on the new blog for PDA.

Seeing red....

This ATC was created with the challenge from Think Monday Think ATC "Seeing Red" in mind. The title is "Timeless Beauty".

Naughty and Nice

This is my entry for "Naughty and Nice" challenge an This Thursday. This piece is an ATC. I used some complimentary papers for base of card. Then I added a bingo card image and the two little girls which I recieved from "imagesbykim" new site for networking and free images. I then added the words Naughty and nice and the bingo marker.

Brown and blue

Two of my newest ATC's. I was looking at my contacts on Flickr and saw a piece with these colors. These pieces were created by the color inspiration. I don't know if you've noticed yet, but I just LOVE the vintage images and styles.

Ephemera Box

When I first joined "imagesbykim" new site Paper Digital Art and Imagesbykim she had posted a game to play to help us learn how to navigate the site. The first ten people to finish the game were entered in a drawing to win a prize. To my surprise(since I never win anything) I won. I won a box of Ephemera box of goodies that she usually sells on Etsy . It's value is $22.99. These 3 pieces were made from pieces that were in that box. I have had a wonderful time creating from this box of goodies. Don't forget to check out her wonderfully exciting site.

A few new pieces

These are just a few of my newest ATC's. I have grown and changed since I first started creating these little pieces of art. I am definetly addicted to making them. I remember when I had first joined Flickr and I read someone's Bio. were they said they had became addictted to making ATC's and I thought WHY. Well now I know WHY!

These piece's were made after I had read a tutorial on Paper Digital Art and ImagesbyKim (which I highly recommened joining). Her sight has so many wonderful things. You get free images, make friends, get to showcase your work and they have tutorials, challenges, games, and much more.

Together

Made for Saturday Surprise, the theme is "Together". You are allowed to create in any medium. This is an ATC which is 2.5" x 3.5". I hand cut and paste all my images.

"Vintage Fragments"

This ATC was created solely out of inspiration. i had picked up an asorment of papers at a craft store a month or so ago, and with those and some other images this is what was born.

"Flower Bling"

Made for MAMMA's challenge "Bling". Oh Boy was this Challenge hard for me! It was defintely differnet than anything I had done before. I started with lavender card stock sized 3.5x2.5 inch, I then added a glittered paper on top of that I hand cut and pasted a lavender flower frame. On the sides of card I cut and filed a old bracelet which I then glued on. To top it off I cut the post off a pierced earing that I only had one of and glued to the center of the glitter paper flower.

ATC Beginners Challenge and Swap

These 2 ATCs were made made for Flickr group ATC Beginners. The challenge was titled "Brown Plus...", 2 pieces had to be made and then mailed to your swap partner. My partner is Angellea, she too has already completed her pieces ( her pieces are wonderful, just click on her name and you can view the pieces I will bw recieving). She is ahead of me though as she has already mailed her's off. We actually have till November 15 to send them off. Mine should go out tommorrow.

1st private trade of ATC

Another thing that happened today is I recieved Flickr mail for a personal trade
of this ATC I made on Saturday called First Love. This was very exciting to me because the only trades I've made before have been through Maggie's Monday Musings(MAMMA) which of course are exciting in their on right, but I have never been asked to do one personally. Felt really good. When I recieve my trade I'll let you all see.

Everything is new again!

Today I joined a new group called Paper Digital Art and Imagesbykim . Very exciting and it's all quite new to me. I don't know how you all keep up with everything. There is the creating, the challenges, Flickr groups, uploading the images, learning all th new lingo and gadgets, the discussions, and the list goes on and on and on...........! I am excited though it all seems so complicated now, but I'm sure like all things eventually it will be old hat. If anyone out there can relate I would Love to know about it. Enjoy your day or evening where ever you are.

Vintage ATC Tag

Very 1st ATC(still settling in)

Well I thought I would post my very 1st ATC. ATC's are harder for me since I started my collaging on 8"x 10" cardstock so they could be framed. The comment thing is a little better, but my account says only 5 comments available.
So as I said I'm still working out the bugs. Blogging is so new to me and at times I wonder if I should just stick to Flickr. You can see the rest(which isn't many at this time)of my ATC's their. ATC's on Flickr .

Yay

I finally got it! Woke this morning and figured out how to get those comments on. Must of needed a fresh pair of eyes and a fresh mind.

Wow is this FRUSTRATING!

I can't believe how frustrating this is! If anyone is reading this HELP! I cannot figure out how to get the comments enable. I've been trying since yesterday and can't get it. What is it I don't know that the rest of you do? Other than that I think I got things under control, but again you never know. If you happen on this and your a flickr friend please flickr mail to give me any suggestions. If you can, which I doubt leave a comment and then I'll know it's working.

"Beauty of the Soul"

I had gotten re-inspired by a new friend I found on Flickr(Vivi-Mari). This piece is postcard size(6"x4"), which is smaller than my orignal work, but I went to my own style. The insperation is of course Beauty, but it comes from inside us, not from the outside. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

"Autumn" Wings

Well of course being oh so new to this, I was wrong and this was my 1st piece of the week, "Coffee" was 2nd. This piece was made for Sunday postcard Art, the challenge was "Autumn". I hand cut paste back ground and images to cardstock and hand wrote poem with calligraphy marker.

I'm very new @ blogging so I decided to start with 1st piece I made this week. I started to do art challenges when I joined Flickr. I'm Loving both the challenges and Flickr, I'm new to it also. Well here I go I'm so confused about how to go about this but hopefuuly it won't take too long to figure it all out. Never having a blog or website before puts me at great disadvantage, Oh well! I'll just trying til I get right.
